Testimonials

Parag,
Congratulations on builidng this Astronomical Observatory for public. Why don't you build many similar observatories in our country and connect them with optical fiber?

20th June - 18th July 2020 - Solar System Planets - Wonders of the different worlds!
MILKYWAY CITIZENS has started taking sessions & courses since April 2020. I joined it in the same month. Parag Mahajani sir is a consultant of this organization. My overall experience is best. I have gained lot of information from it. This organization arranges weekly sessions and monthly certificate courses. The weekly talks contain information about various different but very interesting topics like comets, asteroids, moon missions, black holes etc.
I have attended many weekly sessions & two courses namely as Venusian World & Solar System Planets. Mahajani sir gives us very deep understanding & good explanation.
Before starting a session, sir, gives us basic knowledge of a perticular subject. He explains the subject in a very good manner. Sir, himself goes down in the subject and teaches us. So it becomes easier for us to understand.
I am very lucky to attend the sessions & courses. I have got a lot of information about astronomy. I am very satisfied.

Hi, Mr. Mahajani

I would like to extend an invitation to you and the members of the team Milkyway Citizens to participate in the first ever IASC Invitational Challenge Search Campaign.  This asteroid search campaign starts September 23rd and continues until October 18th.

You and your team members are being invited to participate because in previous campaigns you discovered 10 Main Belt asteroids (MBAs) that were not reported in the nightly processing at Pan-STARRS.

Furthermore, a total of 11 submissions were made...only 1 false detection.  This is a remarkable achievement.

This makes your team currently one of the top 10 in IASC.  Congratulations!!

Cordially,

Patrick Miller, Director, International Asteroid Search Campaign (IASC)

20th June - 18th July 2020 - Solar System Planets - Wonders of the different worlds!
I have been reading many things about our Solar Sytem and was curious to know what more I can learn from this course. What I learnt from this course was something out of ordinary. This course gave me in depth details about each planet, their satellites and many other astronomical bodies in the solar systems. I also enjoyed to learn about how these planets were discovered. The course content was explained through beautiful slides containing images which helped understand the concepts better. While traversing through the course, Parag Sir inspires his students to think about unsolved astronomical problems and guides us on what could be a future area for research. As usual, Parag Sir encouraged us to ask questions and explained in detail till our queries were resolved. I would rank this course a 5 out of 5.
